Robot Damashii GN-X

The Robot Damashii or Robot Spirits
GNX-603T , GN-X

Also known as jinx this mobile suit comes from the Gundam 00 series. It only appeared somewhere towards the end of season 1 as a counter attack on Celestial Being ( where my blog names come from ) and they did a very good job at that, since the gundam meisters was almost wiped out. This suits a powered by fake GN drive which emits red GN-particles. More history on the GN-X can be found here.

The head is on a double ball joint. However the articulation is limited due to the design of the armour.

Shoulders are on ball joints connecting to the torso, the grey piece is slightly movable. Elbow is on a hinged joint at the above picture shows the maximum angle. Hands are on a ball joint.

This shows the maximum angle on how far the arms can stretch out. It can rotate 360 without any problems

Torso, no joints

Torso is connected to the waist through something, sorry I have yet to know the term for this joint. That joint is not easily separated and only allows it to rotate 360.

The two big grey skirts are connected to the front skirt via the white piece with both ends being ball joint.

Legs, Ball joint from leg to waist, hinged knee, ball joint ankle.

Attached the rifle part to the sub-machine gun and you get one awesome looking gun.

This also helps improve the range of the gun in the anime.

It took me a while to get my hands on this figure, as I missed many many opportunities to buy this guy as I ran out of budget. Also I was a little reluctant to buy this off ebay as it costs ALOT. Luckily I managed to find one for a reasonable price of 3500 yen around RM 139 give or take.Is it worth it? Well if you can find it for a decent price I say go for it.

Mine does not come with the reissued shield, which I can live without.

Being a 2011 Release, this figure has very few articulations, I guess mainly the because of the design and it is a slight up grade of the GN-X III figure, which I will do a review on in a much much later time. Although the articulations are limited the figure is still nice and fun to pose with. The only issues with the figure is that mine comes with a very very very lose ankle joint  so any push and this guy will topple. And the plastic used for the arm and feet are turning red/pinkish, this applies to my Cherudim, and other GN-X figures. Not sure of the cause of this problem might be the chemicals in the plastic or some other things. If you do know please tell me.

Mine came with a great dent at the back, and as I bought this second hand it does not come with a brown box that limited tamashii web exclusive figures usually have.

Now for articulation the head can only tilt up that far

And down 

Head is on a double ball joint, and can turn 360 with some hindrance from the two yellow piece beside the head. Also there are Gatling guns underneath each yellow piece beside the head, however pushing them up is a bit of a hassle due to the head design.

Torso, there is a joint connecting the blue piece to the red, and the red piece is on a ball joint with the waist

Next Arms. There are 7 different joints for the arm. One middle piece connecting the torso to the shoulder joint considered as 2 joints here. Shoulder pad is also movable. Elbow joint, wrist joint, the "claw" is also movable 180 degrees.

Wings, as seen from the  'The Figure with wings back' there are 3 joints giving it a variety of movements

All side skirts are movable, both front and side skirts are on a ball joint and the back skirt are joined together with a swivel joint.

Legs, ball joint from the waist, and 3 swivel joint at the knee as the middle piece is movable, ball joint for the ankle joint and ankle armour, swivel joint for feet.

 The above pictures are taken with flash instead of using proper lighting. As I haven't actually made or found a proper workspace I tried using a different light source, hence the different light balance for the pictures below.

Overall This is an excellent figure, great and tight articulations, nice details and colour. Shame it doesnt come with a stand as Wing gundam definitely looks better 'flying'. Elbow joints are also strong enough to support the weight of the buster rifle, which was an issue with my fix figuration Gundam Wing ver Ka.

The only cons are the arm as the 'claw' pieces are very annoying at certain angles as it clashes with the shoulder pad and sometimes the wing depending on poses. Also the 'claws' and the yellow antenna are hard plastic and can break easily if not careful. Mine came with a broken antenna had to super glue it back, not really noticeable thankfully. 

Got this figure at 5000 yen , around 200 ringgit. Is it worth it? Yes.

This is my first review ever so sorry about the picture quality and the lack of detailed pictures. Will learn as I do more reviews. Comments on how I should improve are much appreciated.

Well, I guess it takes a lot of dedication to maintain a blog, as I can see that mine is/was Dead hence today will be the day where I was bored enough and good enough to do so.

After studying some IT , I learn that it is always the best idea to keep things plain and simple, to save bandwidth and faster loading time, hence the new layout.

Tags yeah this, is oh so very important.

On separate note this blog will now be Converted to a semi toy review blog, as well for the fun of it.
